Top issues during term (3)
election conspiracy theories and county political unrest
Expect taxpayer money and staff time to get eaten up by disputes, legal reviews, and election-process churn—though the exact price tag isn’t clear from this.
political polarization in local governance
Taxpayers can end up footing the bill through staff turnover, legal fights, delayed projects, and less effective county services when local government is consumed by political conflict.
local political takeover / far-right governance
Expect possible extra costs from staff turnover, legal fights, and disrupted county business—money that comes out of local services.
